Let’s face it, we all want to be ‘liked’, right? But trying to hard to be liked by everyone is often the kiss of death for Entrepreneurs.

You see, too many companies fail by playing it safe and attempting to make everyone happy by choosing to stay in the middle of important issues, instead of taking an aggressive stance in one direction.

For example, I don’t hide the fact that:

  • I love money (and I think you should too!)
  • It drives me crazy to see people content with living mediocre lives (look, if you’re not growing, you’re dying! GROW and make the most out of this life!)
  • I think Entrepreneurs are today’s heroes (we provide jobs, innovation, conveniences, life saving devices and a whole lot more) and Entrepreneurs should be treated as such (not taxed more because of our accomplishments!)
  • And I believe that everyone should give back and do your part in making this world an even better place for us, our children and our future.

Is that going to piss a few people off?  You bet.

But on the contrary, it’s going to bring those of us with a common vision closer together.

The most dangerous place to be is in the middle – that’s the real kiss of death. If you’re just ‘plain vanilla’ – you don’t stand out and people forget about you.

With gratitude,
Charlie
